Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Philadelphia, PA

(Onsite)


Summary:

We are actively seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in accordance with safety regulations. The Maintenance Technician will perform predictive and preventive procedures to support the achievement of business goals and objectives.


Responsibilities:

  • Process electrical control knowledge
  • Process industrial machinery knowledge
  • Ability to test electrical and mechanical equipment and components
  • Diagnose root cause of electrical and mechanical failures
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Install, repair, and maintain automated machinery and mechanical equipment
  • Install, repair, and maintain plant facilities equipment
  • General machinist abilities
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electrical meters, and material-handling equipment


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience. An associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience, strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC and HVAC experience
  • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with multiple types of equipment, PLC’s, electrical understanding, able to read schematics and troubleshooting with a multimeter.
