The Supervisor of Respiratory Services assists Director for twenty-four hour/day accountability for the planning, directing, leading and evaluating the care, provided by the Respiratory Services staff and EEG Department. Oversees staffing schedule, providing shift coverage to meet minimum staffing requirements and is accountable for meeting Departmental productivity goals. Act as Point of Care Supervisor for ABG's testing. Assists in the Preparation of requests for the fiscal year's budget. Interacts closely with other facility staff and department staff to ensure safe, quality patient care is provided in accordance with corporate, facility and unit standards. Participates on committees, task forces as assigned. Assists in the Formulation and revision of policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum Education: Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program

Experience:

Minimum Experience: Three years' Acute Care experience. One year management or supervisory experience in a respiratory therapy department. (preferred)

Licenses/Certificates:

Required License/Certification: Current RRT or CRT license. BLS, NRP, ACLS, PALS certifications
