Respiratory Care Specialist

Job Summary
As a Respiratory Care Specialist at Tampa General Hospital, you will provide high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services to patients of all ages. Your expertise will include oxygen therapy, therapeutic gas administration, chest physiotherapy, aerosol therapy, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, airway management, ventilator management, and acute care services.
Qualifications
Education: A degree from a Respiratory Therapy Program is required.
Required Licensure/Certification: Current Florida Registered or Certified license; BLS certification.
Required Licensure/Certification: ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification prior to hire
Preferred Licensure/Certification: Registered
Other Requirements: Competencies, training, and certifications as required by area of clinical specialty.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Adequate visual and hearing senses to assess/detect changes in human physiological condition.
Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language
Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, stressful environments
Experience: Preferred: 1 year Acute Care and Nursery Experience
