The Dietitian performs nutritional assessments on patients and works with medical team to prescribe and monitor care plans for nutritional needs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a department representative as part of the hospital clinical team
- Adherence to all local, state and federal safety and sanitation codes
- Menu development and implementation
- Work directly with patients to explain diets/supplements in response to diagnosis
- Provide recommendations for enteral and parenteral nutrition support
- Assess patients for malnutrition and develop nutrition interventions and care plans to address identified nutrition diagnoses
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) using food service management software
- Offer inpatient nutritional counseling
- Is flexible in assuming other appropriate responsibilities, not noted above
- Currently licensed as a Registered Dietician
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Diet
- Lifting of 50 #. Standing for long periods of time.
- Working in an environment that includes a wide range of temperatures including production areas and walk-in coolers/freezers.

- $30-$40 per hour
