The Dietitian performs nutritional assessments on patients and works with medical team to prescribe and monitor care plans for nutritional needs.Roles and Responsibilities:Serve as a department representative as part of the hospital clinical team Adherence to all local, state and federal safety and sanitation codesMenu development and implementationWork directly with patients to explain diets/supplements in response to diagnosisProvide recommendations for enteral and parenteral nutrition supportAssess patients for malnutrition and develop nutrition interventions and care plans to address identified nutrition diagnosesSubject Matter Expert (SME) using food service management softwareOffer inpatient nutritional counseling Is flexible in assuming other appropriate responsibilities, not noted aboveRequired Skills and Experience:Currently licensed as a Registered DieticianBachelor's Degree in Nutrition or DietPhysical Requirements: Lifting of 50 #. Standing for long periods of time.
