META is outsourcing the installation and maintenance of all of their POP locations around the Los Angeles, CA area. They have awarded Ledcor this contract for a 6 month trial. Ledcor is in need of an experienced Central Office Technician/Data Center Technician to fulfill the Operations Technician(Smart Hands) role for this area. Below is a list of responsibilities for this role:
What is Metro Tech responsibilities?
Operations Technician
• Troubleshooting
• RMA handling
• Hardware replacement
• Power cycling
• Cable Tracing
• Shipping/Logistic
• Audits
• RISC
• ERAD
• Housekeeping
• Inventory mgmt and labeling
• Clean cage (no card boxes, dust, scrap or bolts laying around etc)
• Tidy spare cabinet
Working hours are 8:30-5:00
Responsible for all META POP’s in the greater Los Angeles market
Will take direction from META Management with some Ledcor direction
Rental Vehicle will be prepaid by TEKsystems. Parking and Gas will be reimbursed.
You will work for TEKsystems.

How do you check a server if it's down?
What are the different types of optics?
What do you do if a port is down?
Have you used a power meter?
Have you used a fiber scope?
What is a QSFP cable and have you used one?
