Benefits and Perks Flexible schedules (3-5 hours) convenient for after-school & second jobs Paid training & Lifeguard Certification Fun work environment and culture Employee referral program Quarterly (actually fun) team events such as escape rooms, trampoline parks, zip-lining, and bowling to name a few -Requirements- An enthusiastic, warm, but assertive personality who really loves talking to people and developing positive, friendly relationships An understanding of the importance of sticking to a good structure and a willingness to enforce essential safety procedures and policies in a fun and gentle manner -Preferred- Ability to be upbeat and ready to enjoy having fun at work Must be able to work regularly on a weekend Someone willing to cross train as a Swim Instructor when coverage is needed Job Duties Upon completing the training program, Customer Experience Specialists will be our main point of contact for our families and students throughout their time as part of our extended “swim family” Setting up and take down the pool deck area before and after each shift Assisting our parents with questions they have about their schedule and the progress of their children. Supporting the aquatics team by being an active participant in the safety of our swimmers Supporting the aquatics team with attendance and skills Supporting the aquatics team in managing the seamless transition between classes About Us: "Here at British Swim School, we are more than just a fun, surface-level swim lesson provider. We invest in quality team members to teach our lessons with the mindset that we are two schools in one, a survival school first and a learn-to-swim school second. As a result, we can support our mission “to ensure that every person, regardless of age or ability, has the opportunity to become a safe and happy swimmer”. Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour Working at British Swim School is more than just a job; it’s a chance to create a lasting impact that could change a child's life. It’s a chance to be part of a fun-loving team of dedicated people who are committed to promoting water safety and a lifelong love of the water. While we teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, most of our students are preschool and elementary-aged kids. Our instructors should like working with this age group and be good at making parents feel comfortable. It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude. The job comes with specialized training in our advanced and unique British Swim School approach. We also have exciting opportunities with our Customer Service Team, even if you're not in the pool. These are the people committed to providing the best service in the industry. In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.” Each franchise location is independently owned and operated by a franchisee (franchise owner).
