We are currently hiring a Field RN in our Erie County Area
REGISTERED NURSE (RN) DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides in-field professional supervision and on-the-job training to personal care aides.
- Assists with clinical orientation of newly hired paraprofessional staff.
- Provides medical oversight for clients in their homes- including but not limited to assessments, obtaining MD orders, monthly contacts and maintaining an appropriate Plan of Care
- Maintain current DOH regulations regarding 6-month recertifications and Post Hospital visits.
Job Requirements
- NYS licensed and currently registered as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Thorough knowledge of the scope of practice of professional and paraprofessional healthcare.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively before customers/patients or employees of the agency.
- Excellent organizational writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form.
- Home Care experience is required.
- HHAeXchange software knowledge is a plus but not required.
