The Staffing Assistant acts as the point of contact for Talent and job seekers. They handle all onboarding including organizing or conducting pre-employment screening and client orientations while maintaining a high level of compliance and precision. They review timesheets for accuracy and submit hours for weekly pay.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Maintains a high level of rapport when working with Talent and client
  • Handles and documents all client communication regarding the Talent’s performance, absences, timesheet information, and general inquiries.
  • Conducts quality control calls with Talent per company guidelines
  • Answers Talent questions regarding benefits, payroll, and other employment inquiries
  • Performs background checks, drug screens and references as needed
  • Conducts and assists with ABR onboarding, client orientations and job fairs
  • Responds to corporate requests for information related to workers compensation, unemployment, and finance
  • Assist with gathering data for business reviews or client-specific reporting
  • Keep ATS company details page accurately and completely populated
  • Assists Onsite Staffing Coordinator with administrative duties
  • Assists Recruiters with posting jobs, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
  • Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations
  • Complies with all company policies, rules and procedures
  • Maintains regular and punctual attendance
Additional Responsibilities
  • Completes other administrative duties including answering calls, taking messages, greeting visitors, setting up appointments, other data entry as needed, and maintaining Talent employment files, both paper and electronic
  • Travels as needed to meet with clients, Talent and attend functions
  • Attends trainings and meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Microsoft Word and Outlook knowledge. They should have basic computer skills including ability to write, modify and edit text using word processing application, create and format simple spreadsheets, create basic presentations, know how to forward and cc emails, understand how to search, assess search results, and download information from the internet.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, and commission.
