Aircraft Integration and Testing Director

We are seeking an experienced industry professional to provide technical leadership and oversight to onsite teams required for aircraft integration and flight testing. This role involves serving as the external customer technical lead and interface to senior/executive management while managing multi-discipline teams and coordinating program ATOs based on requirements. Additionally, you will participate in future proposals, oversee mission equipment package integration, support the flight test team, and ensure on-time delivery of deployable assets that meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead integration, flight test, and information technology teams
  • Manage a geographically dispersed multi-discipline team to achieve mission objectives
  • Interface with Government customers, support contractors, and teammates
  • Coordinate and enforce hardware, software, and process baseline standards
  • Provide support metrics and reporting to leadership
  • Maintain performance of subsystems and troubleshoot system faults
  • Liaise with subcontractor maintenance team daily to ensure progress matches planned schedule

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent relevant experience and a minimum of 8 years of related work experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years of related work experience
  • Experience in aircraft manufacturing, modification, and repair station operations
  • Technical leadership experience leading a medium-to-large program supporting design, development, integration, and testing of complex ISR systems into manned or unmanned fixed-wing aircraft
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DCH-8, Bombardier 6500 jets, and Beechcraft King Air 200 & 300
  • Airborne ISR system operational experience
  • Experience with management of ISR system development, testing, operations, and sustainment
  • Experience providing technical leadership of proposals for medium-sized efforts ($50M)
