Nature's Seed is seeking a Director of E-Commerce, who will be responsible for driving Its growth and profitability. Leads the company's strategic planning, financial management, team building, marketing efforts, product development, and through the Operations Manager, accountable for the overall business operations to ensure the company achieves its goals.

Responsibilities:

Implement, and assist in development of, the strategic sales and marketing plan to achieve business objectives, including revenue growth, profitability, and market share.

Drive online revenue growth through effective marketing and sales tactics, including digital marketing campaigns and partnerships, optimizing website experience, increasing traffic and conversion rates, maintaining a high paid-media ROAS, and enhancing personalization.

Ensure the company's financial health through effective financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.

Lead a high-performing team, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and alignment across the organization.

Work with the Operations and Content teams to ensure coordination of sales activities, supply chain management, fulfilment, and customer service, to ensure timely delivery of products and excellent customer experience.

Direct reports include the Operations Manager, responsible for operations related to order processing and fulfillment including warehouse operations, inventory planning and tracking, quality control, procedural development, picking, packaging, and shipping; and through the Operations Manager, ensure that daily fulfillment operations are executed with excellence and efficiency so that inventory, quality, and warehouse KPIs are met; as well as the Content Manager, to ensure that the product offering, product descriptions, and overall content management are best-in-class

Continuously improve and encourage the development of new products and services that meet the needs of customers.

Monitor industry trends and competition, ensuring the company remains competitive and responsive to market changes.

Represent the company to external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and customers, maintaining strong relationships and positive reputation.

Develop best-in-class customer journey across mobile, tablet, desktop.

Drive new site functionality and feature initiatives: identify, recommend, and oversee implementation of approved, new functionality or solutions to drive conversion.

Ensure all site content serves to meet channel goals, customers' expectations, e-commerce best practices, and search engine optimization (SEO) requirements.

Direct efforts to optimize existing site features including reviews, on-site search, navigation, and taxonomy.

Provide analysis, reporting and insights on cross-channel campaigns and brand performance, often making recommendations for adjustment to marketing campaigns in-flight.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related subject required; MBA preferred.

Thorough understanding of order processing and fulfillment operations, including shipping and logistics.

Preference for background or experience with agriculture, particularly in the turf and/or native seed industry.

5+ years of experience across the B2C and/or DTC marketing and digital landscape, including website management and email marketing.

5+ years of experience working with data analysis and analytics tools, including Google Analytics skills.

Previous retail, e-commerce, and wholesale experience required.

Experience with e-commerce platforms, specifically WooCommerce.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong organizational skills and work ethic.

Ability to commute to office in Lehi, Utah.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Strong understanding of e-commerce specific business practices and consumer behavior, best practice marketing strategy and tools, vendor management, and project management

Ability to successfully define and deliver complex projects end-to-end with positive ROI, from business case through deployment, under tight timelines.

Experience creating best in class SEM strategies, inclusive of content optimization.

Familiar with site CRO, personalization, web production, site operations, UI/UX, site merchandising, and testing & optimization

Motivational and strong people manager who leads by example and excels at communication to ensure alignment with all team members.

Ability to clearly and efficiently articulate data to senior and c-suite stakeholders.

Preferred knowledge of systems includes, but not limited to: WooCommerce, WordPress, Google Analytics (GA4), Klayvio, Amazon Seller Central, Meta Business Suite.
