Refrigeration Service Manager - Oak Creek, WI

Job Summary: Our client is a HVAC/Refrigeration company that services Southeast, WI, and Northeast IL. They are seeking a Service Manager to join their team in Oak Creek, WI. This person is someone that has field experience in the HVAC and Refrigeration service business that can talk to customers about incoming service requests, debrief and troubleshoot with technicians on service calls, and dispatch technicians based on priority.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Meet with customers in the service territory to ensure satisfaction and retention, as well as prospect for additional service opportunities.
  • Understand mechanical systems and appropriate codes and industry standards.
  • Perform and assist on service calls as needed.
  • Review all service invoices daily, this includes comparing time cards to invoices and spot-checking pricing.
  • Review all warranty invoices, making sure that all valid warranty issues are being addressed to the vendor, parts, misc. Field materials and labor.
  • Recruit, interview, hire and train technicians as required to meet workload demands, and company or customer expectations and requirements.
  • Supervise and direct field technicians to effectively perform the functions of equipment repair, maintenance, start-ups, operation and other duties as requited to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in refrigeration, HVAC and/or electrical trades
  • Familiarity with pricing and billing
  • Familiarity with directing warranty claims
  • Problem-solving
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to multitask
  • Advanced customer service and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • At least 5 years of commercial service management work experience
  • Working knowledge and understanding of commercial HVAC and Refrigeration systems
  • Technical aptitude with knowledge of local building codes and ability to use resources at hand to develop solutions.
  • Follow all safety and security procedures
