Job Overview
This position focuses on producing analytical solutions for leadership to support business initiatives. The Data Analyst provides consultation and support in developing, analyzing, interpreting, and managing various routines to minimally complex data sources.

This is an in-office role, requiring availability to work from our Logan, UT headquarters.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership across the organization to design, create, test, and implement analytic tools such as databases, reports, web applications, dashboards, etc.
  • Create reports that answer a specific question. Reports include basic graphs, output lists of data, basic use of parameters, Power BI, Excel Jet reports, Tableau Dashboards, and the technical ability to modify project/dashboards created by other analysts and adapt them for their use
  • Share essential and relevant information with the team. Proactively offer suggestions, provide resources volunteer for assignments, and remove barriers to help the team accomplish its goals
Education/Experience
  • Education in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or analytical techniques
  • Experience as a Data Analyst/Data Architect
  • Working knowledge of the housing industry, including its processes, workflows, and general functionality (preferred)
  • Experience working with clients, vendors, and third-party systems is required
  • Demonstrated experience developing, analyzing, cleaning, interpreting, and managing various data sets
  • Demonstrated experience using Word processing, Azure database, internet, SharePoint, Outlook, SQL querying, Python, Visual Studios, GitHub, and scheduling applications
  • Demonstrated experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's, Jet Reports, complex formulas, etc.)
  • Possess strong intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and develop new ideas
  • Must be highly detail-oriented and able to make sound decisions
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged sitting, while working at a computer
  • Occasional lifting under 15 lbs.
