An application concerning the employment of one or more alien workers for the following permanent position will be filed with the Department of Labor. Job Title: Data Analyst

Salary: $68,900 per year

Job Duties:

  • Collect data requirements from the scheduling department, quality assurance department,
    and executive levels.
  • Gather logistical data from multiple sources, analyze them and create automated Tableau
    Dashboards to provide timely and accurate information for the directors and the team.
  • Understand the requirements and identify repetitive tasks to achieve effective workflow
    automation and improve work efficiency.
  • Import sales and logistical data from different sources into Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Gather data from third parties and different internal tools to create Home Delivery KPI
    reports, Carriers Performance scorecards and Home Delivery Accrual.
  • Perform contract analysis and visualize the gain and loss to help make further decisions.
  • Manage data and dashboard requests for the Supply Chain and Operations departments.
  • Work with the director-level workforce to understand reporting needs to aid in critical
    business decisions.
  • Provide team members training for various operating departments.
  • Develop methodology and processes for prioritization and scheduling of projects.
  • Use Python, Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Studio, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel to merge
    and clean the data from the different systems and manipulate the data sets for the purpose of
    various requirements
  • Use the BI tools like Tableau, Visual Studio, and Microsoft Excel to visualize, present, and
    elaborate data, analyze problems, and help the end-users to determine the root causes.
  • Manage the data sources and keep them refreshed automatically and timely as needed.
  • Provide operational data and solutions to the third parties or company staff for specific
    projects.

Degree Requirement: Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems, Business
Intelligence, or IT field closely related to Management Information Systems, Business
Intelligence. Foreign Degree Accepted.

Experience Required: 2 years as a Data Analyst or closely related occupation. Employer will
accept a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems, Business Intelligence, or closely
related IT field in lieu of the 2 years of experience.

Skillset Requirements (Special Requirements):
Demonstrable knowledge of and prior experience in:
  • Python;
  • Tableau;
  • Visual Studio;
  • Microsoft SQL Server;
  • Microsoft Excel.
