LCSW-C/LCPC - BH Therapist Position Summary
The Behavioral Health Therapist delivers therapeutic services in the Child and Adolescent (C&A) Partial Hospitalization Program which includes individual, group, and family therapy services. Provides ongoing crisis management, trauma-informed care, brief case management, biopsychosocial assessments, and individualized treatment planning to encompass an overall quality of care for all patients.
Responsibilities include- Collaborate with primary care physicians to conduct mental health screenings, assessments, and evaluations for patients presenting with psychological concerns.
- Provide evidence-based individual interventions to address a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, and adjustment disorders.
- Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, primary care providers, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Conduct brief interventions and crisis management for patients experiencing acute mental health crises or emergencies.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing the delivery of mental health services within the primary care setting.
LCSW-C/LCPC - BH Therapist Position Requirements
Education
- Master's Degree required in social work, counseling or related field.
Required License and/or Certification
- LCSW-C or LCPC required.
Experience
- 3-5 years of post-graduate behavioral health work experience preferred.
- Training in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, family therapy, and supportive therapy preferred.
- 2 years of experience in pediatric behavioral health preferred.
LCSW-C/LCPC - BH Therapist Benefits
- At TidalHealth, Full time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
