POSITION SUMMARY

Work directly with the business owner to elicit the needs of the business and stakeholders across the project requirements lifecycle. KeyK partner with the HFHP Project Managers to manage operational projects within HFHP, and adhere to all prescribed business analysis practices in order to deliver the appropriate artifacts for the solution and support the strategic business plans of Health First H ealth Plans. Drive and improve operational processes across the Health Plan through leading improvement initiatives, data and trend analysis, waste identification, process mapping, and overseeing improvement plans.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Work on strategic and high priority projects as assigned by management, work on and/or oversee more than one project at a time.
  2. Lead teams as project manager in process improvement initiativespii.
  3. Manage, coordinate and create: Business requirements, use cases, test plans including training, testing results, issues management, business processes, documentation and formal presentations.
  4. Perform data and trend analysis to identify areas for improvement and identify key process input variables as well as define impact to current business process.
  5. Create, prioritize and manage work plans, establish responsible deadlines and schedule and facilitate team meetings.
  6. Generate innovative solutions by approaching problems with curiosity and open mindedness, using existing information to its fullest potential.
  7. Evoke creative and innovative thinking from team members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

*Education:*Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or related field or Bachelor’s degree in same degrees in progress and will be obtained in 2 years or less.

*Work Experience:*Two years’ experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management or other related field

  • Possess analytical thinking and problem solving skills, business knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
  • Able to work in an often stressful and fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility in an autonomous work environment.
  • Proven ability to elicit and document concise business requirements and information from reluctant participants
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate effectively and influence without authority
  • Ability to work tactfully, collaboratively and effectively with team members, vendor(s), and the user community
  • Highly organized, motivated, and responsible self-starter with excellent time management, analytical, research, process management methodologies, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to delegate responsibility
  • Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to HFHP standards, compliance and privacy protocols
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Visio and PowerPoint PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Certification:

  • Green belt or higher in Lean Process Improvement
  • Business Analyst Certification *Work Experience: *3 years’ experience in business analysis or process improvement and/or project management
    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Knowledge of Business Analysis and/or Project Management established procedures and standards
  • Experience in Health Insurance or other insurance setting PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Sedentary – Office Workers

  • Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, stooping
  • Long periods of computer time or at workstation
  • Light work that may include lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance.
  • May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks
  • Workspace may vary from open to confined; on site or remote
  • May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter; may require use of personal vehicle
