Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Summary: Serves as a liaison between patients/family members and all departments in identifying and solving patient problems. The overall goal is to improve the patient and family experience. Responsibilities: Compassionately communicates, mediates, investigates, and documents patient and guest complaints and grievances, working towards timely, and satisfactory resolution. Understands and explains policies and procedures, and regulatory and accreditation standards, in response to patient complaints/grievances and patient experience. Regularly analyzes complaint data and reports to appropriate committees and leadership. Participates in process improvement efforts aimed at improving the patient and family experience. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements: Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in related field.
