Summary:

Responsible for utilizing data mining, advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to make meaningful changes to machine learning and artificial intelligence systems. Demonstrates strong knowledge of data and research science, big data and cloud analytics as well as advanced coding.

Details:

Mr. Cooper Group is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer I who will be responsible for designing and implementing AI/ML solutions to extract insights from data and optimize mortgage process engineering. The selected candidate will utilize Vertex AI for MLOps and leverage Large Language Model (LLM) to craft AI solutions. This role involves participation in the entire AI/ML project lifecycle, from data collection and curation to exploratory data analysis (EDA), model training, integration, production deployment, and monitoring. The ideal candidate should be an excellent team player and have a passion for keeping up-to-date with the latest trends in machine learning, cloud services, and technology. We believe that cutting-edge products are key to our customers' success, and thus, require someone who shares this belief.

Technical Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with Computer Science or similar

• At least 1.5 years of hands-on experience delivering products or solutions that utilized Machine learning, Natural Language processing or other forms of AI solutions

Machine Learning:

• Very fluent in one or more ML tools like Tensorflow, Pytorch, Caffe, and/or Theano and have solved several real-life problems using these

• Experience in NLP, Vision, Classification, Extraction, Regression, Clustering, and Forecasting.

• Ability to build deep learning models with TensorFlow/Keras or PyTorch.

• Proficiency with Python and libraries for machine learning (such as scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas, OpenCV)

• Knowledge in data visualization, manipulation, versioning of big datasets and Feature Engineering

• Monitor the performance of deployed models in production and troubleshoot any issues that may arise

Software Development:

• The ability to write code in programming languages such as Python (preferred)

• Theoretical and practical knowledge of SQL databases

• Familiarity with software development methodology such as Agile/Scrum

• Loves to learn new technology
