Calibration Tool Technician

Overview:

The successful Calibration Technician candidate will partner with our client s calibration engineer to ensure the measurement & test equipment used to build space vehicles and rocket engines are calibrated and cycled on schedule.
  • Qualifications: HS diploma and calibration related technical training.
  • 3+ years experience in calibration required.
  • Experience using IndySoft is a huge plus.
  • Familiarity with the operation of measurement and test equipment required.
  • Comfortable utilizing a computer to maintain, organize, and track technical information.
  • Military PMEL or Post-Secondary metrology training preferred.
  • Experience with industry calibration standards (ANSI NCSL Z540.3, ISO/IEC 17025) preferred.
  • Experience with industry quality and configuration control system methodologies (AS9100, ISO:9001) preferred.
  • Experience developing, operating and maintaining calibration systems & procedures preferred.
  • U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Duties: Perform calibration of measurement & test equipment in a metrology lab environment.
  • Maintain accuracy of calibrated item inventory & calibration status.
  • Utilize 3rd party calibration vendors and oversee the logistics of calibration services.
  • Assist manufacturing team with device recall & notification.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
