Collaborate with external partners, including waste disposal vendors, regulatory agencies, and emergency responders, to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all laboratory waste, chemical inventory, and safety-related activities, and generate reports as required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in laboratory waste management, chemical safety, and handling. Knowledge of relevant regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT. Experience with chemical inventory management software and databases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement solutions to complex problems. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and safety protocols. Certification in hazardous materials management, chemical hygiene, or a related field is a plus. If you are passionate about chemical safety and waste management and have a strong track record of success in managing laboratory waste.
