Under the direction of the Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor (PSDS) II, duties include planning, organizing and assigning work to Communications Center personnel; ability to work a variety of shifts - including holidays and weekends; prepare performance evaluations, monthly CHP 100PSD forms, citizens' complaints, injury and illness reports; monitor/manage critical incidents; ability to perform dispatch duties using InformCAD; provide direction and assistance to subordinate personnel and other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions
Chico Communications Center PSDSIs are on the 03/12 Alternate Workweek, with seniority sign-ups for shift selection, vacation, and regular days off. Shifts are structured so that each PSDSI have a full weekend off every other week.
