Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply cash to receivables accurately and manage the processing of checks, ensuring timeliness and accuracy in all transactions.
  • Perform general ledger functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, compliance checks, and balance sheet reviews.
  • Automate data entry and reporting tasks to improve process efficiency, using tools such as Power BI and Excel.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, providing reports and presentations for variance analysis.
  • Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and ensure efficient operations.
  • Support audit processes by providing detailed financial documentation and addressing audit requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, with experience in reconciliation and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Power BI.
  • Experience with process automation tools is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in data visualization and report automation using Power BI.
  • Familiarity with continuous process improvement and workflow optimization.
