Associate Managing Partner, Sr Wealth Advisor

Area of Responsibility and Purview: Deliver financial advice to Private Wealth Management clients
Role Specific Job Duties:
- Primarily focused on advising high value family client segments within the practice
- Senior mentor for other wealth advisors on the team; regularly provides guidance and feedback on advisory best practices
- Point of escalation within the team for resolving time sensitive client inquiries and handing complex client situations
- Works collaboratively with the Managing Partner in the practice to deliver on special projects
- Lead the delivery of comprehensive advice and customized wealth management services to high value clients within the practice
- Develop a deep understanding of client wealth planning goals and objectives
- Deliver wealth, financial planning, insurance, investment, and estate planning advice to clients, leveraging financial planners, trust officers and portfolio managers within the practice
- Partner with Private Banking team to deliver clients lending, credit, and banking advice
- Proactively understand and act upon trends, attrition risks, and opportunities with clients and prospects
- Engage in business development activities, managing a personal new business pipeline of client prospects
- Assist the Managing Partner to develop centers of influence (both internal and external) as referral sources
- Adopt new platforms and technologies to drive operational efficiency and enhance the client experience
- Ensure all minimum standards of care are met across all client relationships
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or combination of education and experience that provides and equivalent background
- 5+ years of applicable experience within Financial Services
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 7, 63 and 65) licenses, or ability to attain within 90 days
- Advanced degree or professional certification such as CFP or CFA

- Proficient in delivering advice across investment, tax, estate planning and transfer of wealth strategies
- Understanding of how to leverage team resources to drive client growth, retention and engagement
- Proven culture carrier and mentorship of other advisors
- High Level of Emotional Intelligence, able to read situations accurately and is empathic
- Strong proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM software, and familiarity in other front office software used by wealth advisors
- Proficiency with eMoney client portal and financial planning software
- Type: Office Centric (60% In Office)

Compensation Range:
Minimum: $83,200.00 - Maximum: $214,560.00
The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB's standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
