  • The Manufacturing Engineer will work with cross-functional teams as required and Develop and implement process improvements.

Job Responsibilities:
  • The Manufacturing Engineer will support the continuing production and transfer of new products involving Molded sub-assemblies
  • Supports process validation activities as required.
  • Generates, justifies, and changes manufacturing documentation
  • Assists with the purchase of new capital equipment and/or upgrades of existing capital equipment.
  • The Manufacturing Engineer will perform or manage the installation, operational, or process qualifications.
  • Participates in cross-functional teams comprised of representatives from R&D, Production, Regulatory Affairs, and other departments focused on design for manufacturing of new products

Basic Qualifications | Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 2-4 years of Plastic Molding manufacturing engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processing involving manual assembly and packaging.
  • Experience with statistical techniques (i.e. DOE, SPC), test method development, lean manufacturing principles, creation of value stream maps, FMEA, design for manufacturing, and tooling design.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, while being able to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel & Visio); and the
  • Successful track record of being able to work independently as well as a member of a team.

Competencies:
  • Skill in using computer applications including spreadsheets, databases, and word-processing software.
  • CAD Experience, ProE, or Solidworks
