Job Description:

  • Perform MRI examinations while maintaining safety integrity of MRI operational area for all persons including staff and customers

  • Maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.

  • Explains examination and procedure to patient, and completes departmental documentation.

Job Requirements:

  • Education:Completion of MRI school/MRI certificate program OR Graduate of 24 month program in radiologic technology required in lieu of experience.

  • License/Certifications: CNMT, ARDMS, ARRT, or ARMRIT is required.

  • Experience: One (1) year experience in a Rad Tech position to include Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography or Ultrasound.

Job Summary

1 year experience in a Rad Tech position to include Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography or Ultrasound preferred. Six months MR experience or completion of MR didactic program preferred. Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within 2 years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions). CNMT or ARDMS or ARRT or ARMRIT is required.

TS - Trade School Graduate (Required) Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Certifications - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - Certifications - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Radiologic Technologist
