As the Senior HD Pharmacy Technician, you will be asked to shadow to demonstrate what right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. Positively contributes to overall team motivation and drives team engagement. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions, and creates order, assesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer system. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm CST w/potential weekend shifts based on business needs Location: Remote in the state of Illinois or Iowa If you live in the state of Iowa or Illinois, you'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Customer onboarding Prescription requests Entry, billing, and submittal of the customer's order to fulfillment for delivery assist with operations support, training, and process improvements Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content Creation/ routing of pharmacy orders through receipt Review and verification of members'/patients' prescriptions Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit prescription orders in computer system May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details General Job Profile: Applies knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities Demonstrates great depth of knowledge/skills in own function Acts as a technical resource to others in own function Proactively identifies solutions to non-standard requests Solves moderately complex problems on own Works with team to solve complex problems Plans, prioritizes, organizes, and completes work to meet established objectives Provide an exceptional customer experience with every interaction Provide a holistic approach to case management by completing the following duties for each customer assigned Extensive work experience within own function Work is frequently completed without established procedures Works independently May coordinate others activities You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 3+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician Current Pharmacy Technician state license in state of residence OR National Certification without restrictions based on regulatory requirements of worksite OR the ability to obtain licensing within 1 year of employment Must live in state of Iowa or Illinois *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy.
