Description

CSPNJ, a mental health nonprofit is looking for a full-time Residential Cleaner. The Cleaner is responsible for cleaning common areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing, etc.). This person will also perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
  • Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
  • Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
  • Emptying trash cans.
  • Washing and drying windows.
  • Keeping all common spaces neat and tidy
  • Collaborates with residents to teach and encourage cleaning procedures
  • Communicate with Regional Coordinator to ensure facility always have sufficient cleaning products.
  • Informing the Regional Coordinator of repairs that need to be done.
  • Performs other related duties which may be requested by supervisor.
Full-time | 40 hours per week | Hourly Rate: $16.83 depending on credentials and experience

Benefit Eligible (Medical, free DMO dental & free vision) including 6 weeks PTO & 11 Holidays

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds for short periods of time.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work with individuals with mental illness in a caring and professional manner.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Valid NJ Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
  • Lived Experience: CSPNJ prioritizes hiring people who use their own life experience dealing with mental health/substance use issues to inspire and support others.


Salary Description

Hourly Rate: $16.83
