Qualifications

  • Previous instruction/experience in Automobile Maintenance, minimum 5 years Keystone specific experience and/or specialized certifications/licenses applicable to automobile servicing such as PA inspection license, PA emissions license or ASE Certification as examples or;

  • Valid PA Driver’s License
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
Essential Functions
  • Uses diagnostic scanning equipment to identify various vehicle problems
  • Replaces brake pads and calipers
  • Repairs/Replaces idler arms, wheel bearings, tie rod, rack and pinion, ball joints, struts, and general suspension issues
  • Replaces fuel pump modules
  • Repairs or Replaces various electrical parts including: blower motor and resistor, tail and head lights, bulbs, in dash shorted switches, etc
  • Diagnose alignment and tire balance issues
  • Completes other motor and transmission repairs as needed
  • Repair minor body damage
  • Rotate Tires, oil filter, transmission oil and filter, and air filters
  • Responsible to wear personal protective equipment at all times as environment dictates
  • Participate in snow removal and the use of all equipment as directed
  • Assist in Facilities as directed
Work Environment
  • Auto Shop – Garage environment
  • Use of heavy equipment and tools
  • Exposure to hazardous fluids and fumes
  • Exposure to loud and excessive noise
Physical Abilities
  • Ability to stand for a period of 1 hour at least three times during an 8 hour period
  • Ability to sit for a period of 1 hour at least three times during an 8 hour period
  • Ability to move from a standing position to a squatting position 25 times during an 8 hour period
  • Ability to crouch or kneel
  • Ability to walk a distance of 25 feet at least 10 times during an 8 hour period
  • Must be able to lift and transfer 50 pounds using proper body mechanics 6-12 times hourly
  • Must be able to carry 50 pounds for at least 20 feet
  • Must be able to drive for a period of at least one ½ hour to one hour possibly several times daily
  • Must be able to push/pull 100 pounds
  • Must be able to grasp an object with each hand
  • Must have manual dexterity to use tools necessary for completing work
    • Must be able to hear with or without a hearing assistance device
    • Must have visual acuity with or without corrective device
  • Keystone will proactively work with and assess with any employee requesting a reasonable accommodation to be able to perform all functions of the job.
