Position Overview: The primary focus of this position is to provide support services to our brokers, client executives, senior account managers and account managers with regard to insurance placement-related activities, which may include property/casualty, professional liability, and management liability lines of coverage. Additionally, there will be assigned accounts where processing daily certificates will be required.

Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to Brokers, Client Executives, Sr. Account Managers and Account Managers in servicing the insurance needs of clients including:

  • Maintain all client files both in EPIC and AG Corporate, as appropriate
  • Support the policy renewal process including:
  • Assist with creation and maintenance of exposure workbooks or renewal
  • questionnaires
  • Help pre-fill any additional applications and submission materials
  • Order loss runs, experience modification worksheets, MVRs and organize as
  • necessary
  • Prepare premium finance quotations (and agreements) as needed
  • Preparation of invoices and binders
  • Enter all data into EPIC following established procedures to ensure up-to-date
  • client file
  • Work with Modmaster to organize experience mod worksheets at renewal
  • Assist with policy review against expiring policy wording, insurer quote and A&G standards
  • Prepare renewal batch certificates of insurance to include rolling over endorsements for the new policy term
  • Assist with claim reporting and any insurer audits (as requested)
  • Process endorsement requests including coordinating with insurers, invoicing and sending to clients.
  • Follow up for outstanding payments from a client
  • Process daily certificates for specifically named accounts

In addition, individual shall also provide other administrative, client service and sales support.

Job Requirements: Insurance experience is not necessary but would be ideal if there was 2-4 years of commercial insurance-related experience and possess the following capabilities. A college degree is not required but is a plus. Individual should maintain a P&C license in their home state.

  • Good communication skills- written and oral-to ensure effective interaction with underwriters, team members, and clients.
  • Technologically proficient including use of Microsoft Office Suite and other software and ability to learn EPIC agency management system and other programs in support of our client service
  • Ability to maintain positive relationship with staff, clients and vendors as well as work in a team environment
  • Client-focused and highly motivated in a fast-paced environment
