• Corporate & Traded Credit: Investments in opportunistic and dislocated traded credit, as well as restructurings and liquidations in corporate, structured product, sovereign, and other credit instruments and related assets.
• Real Estate Credit & Assets: Debt and equity investments related to commercial and residential real estate in public markets as well as private credit and asset-level investments in segments such as transportation and infrastructure.
• Financial Services: Investments across the capital structure in consumer finance, commercial finance, and other areas related to financial services, including private credit lending, loan portfolio purchases, and private equity.

Opportunity:
The Product Specialist Senior Analyst position will be a key contributor within the Product Specialist function, which is part of the firm's global Business Development & Investor Relations (BDIR) effort. The BDIR team is responsible for managing the firm's relationships with investors and leading capital-raising activities. The team plays a critical role in achieving Värde's global objectives, while maintaining the firm's exceptional reputation among its investors. The Product Specialist function is a key part of these efforts and serves as an important point of connectivity between the firm's investment professionals and its external clients, as well as other internal stakeholders. The Product Specialist will play a key role in supporting and advancing the firm's objectives.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Develop deep knowledge and expertise of the investment strategies and products within Värde's platform, including at the level of individual investments.
- Develop fluency in the Firm's proprietary tools that house key investment-related content.
- Develop fluency in a wide spectrum of external market data sources (e.g., Preqin, Bloomberg, etc.).
- Interact with and coordinate across a variety of business functions, globally, to gather investment related information in support of critical internal and external content.
- Participate in the drafting, writing, and editing of a wide variety of investment-related materials including quarterly letters, monthly commentaries, and ad hoc materials.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of various presentation materials, case studies and fund documentation.
- Assist Product Specialists in investment-related diligence requests from prospective investors, and day-to-day portfolio inquiries from existing investors.
- Support Product Specialists on the team in a wide range of activities including engaging with existing and prospective investors, as well as internal investment professionals, and production of external-facing content.
- Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years' experience working in an investment bank or asset management firm, or in a trading/investment, sales or product specialist capacity.
- Highest integrity and professionalism.
- Strong technical and quantitative acumen.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint and Excel, and competency with Bloomberg terminal.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong sense of judgement on when and with whom to share information.
- Ability to work very well in a team, communicate effectively and develop strong relationships with various internal business functions.
- Eagerness and curiosity to take on new challenges and new projects.
- Able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
