Position Overview:

MLR Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic team in Santa Clara. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in radiation therapy and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. In this role, you will deliver precise radiation treatments while prioritizing the safety and comfort of our patients throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer radiation therapy treatments according to prescribed plans.
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment with a focus on patient safety.
  • Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient responses and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Educate patients and their families about the treatment process and what to expect.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy.
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
  • California Certified Radiologic Technologist - Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certificate
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
