Position Summary

Provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of diagnostic images appropriate to the age of the patients. Responsible for meeting the established standards of practice and patient care, supplies and equipment, and for coordinating team work with all members of the health care team. The Radiology Technologist may serve patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patient for radiological procedures by accurately assessing patient's needs and providing patient education.
  • Ensures correct exam is performed.
  • Operate radiology equipment for data acquisition, reconstruction of images, documentation of images, and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.
  • Communicates pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of the patient following the examination.
Selection Criteria:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of radiology
  • Current certification by the ARRT and/or state certification
  • Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire date, company paid)
  • Ability to carry up to 24 lbs, lift up to 50 lbs and push or pull 100 lbs
Schedule:
  • Varying Days/Shifts
  • Shift start and end times vary between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM Mon-Fri and 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Sat-Sun
  • This position includes an every third weekend rotation. Other shifts are variable.
