Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree with three years experience in repairing multi platform hardware with emphasis on Chromebooks
  • Experience with local and wide area network (LAN and WAN) administration.
  • Experience with educational technologies with specific knowledge of educational hardware and software.
  • Must be experienced in training and have the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, administrators, vendors and the general public.
  • Must have a valid NH Driver's License.

Specific Core Function:
  • Repair, and management of the district's fleet of Chromebooks in support of 1 to 1 policy.
  • Works directly with the Senior Information Technology Specialist positions for guidance and direction.
  • Implements maintenance, repair and network administration programs, according to the District's technology plan.
  • Assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of a long range plan for the application of computers, telecommunications and technology in all District programs, instructional and administrative, while operating within existing budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities of the Position:
  • Repairs and maintains all District wide Chromebooks, Apple and PC computer systems, printers, and peripheral equipment.
  • Provides user support and acts as a resource person in helping staff, students and administrators access and maximize their use of the technology, and provides staff with related training.
  • Attends workshops, conferences, and training approved by the Chief Information & Cyber Security Officer to improve skills and knowledge needed to perform the assigned duties.
  • Will perform duties at the SAU office as well as school sites and rotate occasionally with Help Desk Coordinator for experience with tickets being logged.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by the Chief Information & Cyber Security Officer

Supervisory Responsibilities - Required Special Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid motor vehicle license

Essential Physical Abilities:
  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to communicate effectively.
  • Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to review a wide variety of materials in electronic or hardcopy form.
  • Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to operate a personal computer, telephone and related equipment.
  • Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to function within the general office environment.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
