Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid-level Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our intel team.

Description:
  • Collaborate on a team of 4 developers modernizing an enterprise Corporate Management Information System that integrates services to achieve a reduction in the Unliquidated Obligation (ULO) cycle-time and increase efficiencies
  • Write code, develop features, and maintain the application
  • Address user issues, fix bugs, and improve system performance
  • Work on a small collaborative development team that operates on a monthly sprint schedule, to include quarterly upgrades
  • Adapt to a fast-paced, agile work environment.
  • Utilize a tech stack that includes Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Docker
  • Manage and update Docker containers to ensure efficient application deployment and scaling, as well as streamline the development process
  • Engage in Agile methodologies, participate in sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and adapt to changing requirements and priorities in a collaborative and iterative development process
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • Six (6) years of experience in software development/ engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Ten (10) years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • Experience with JavaScript Framework (Angular, Vue, React)
  • Full Stack Development experience
  • Willingness to learn modern technologies
  • Working understanding on SQL and/or NoSQL databases
Candidates are desired to have the following skills:
  • Experience working in an Agile Development environment
  • Experience managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to include requirements definition, design, development, test, deployment, and sustainment
  • Experience with Java
  • Experience with PrimeNG UI and TypeForm API
  • Experience managing systems in a virtual hosting environment including AWS
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Experience working with Docker for containerization
