Belay Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer (SWE2) with a Java development background to support our intel team. We have an immediate need for a Software Engineer with at least 3 years’ experience (Mid-Level or higher Required). Candidates should have the ability to quickly understand existing code and system architecture; experience with multi-threaded programs and databases is desired.

Candidates should have the following qualifications: 

  • TS/SCI with polygraph is required.        
  • At least fourteen (14) years of experience as a software engineer and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required.


Candidates are required to have the following skills:

  •  Java

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)


Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

  • Apache NiFi
  • Containerization (e.g. Docker)
  • Terraform
  • Sybase
  • SaltStack
  • Splunk Dashboard development
  • Spring Boot
  • UI Development experience (JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
  • Agile software development
  • Jira and Confluence
  • Strong Linux (e.g. creation of EC2 instances)
  • Strong Networking (DNS, IP space, Cidr)
