Paysign is looking for 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) to join our team in a critical role. At Paysign our QA Analysts are responsible for testing, analysis, and improvement on Paysign software and information systems. The QA Analysts will work closely with development and business teams to implement the tools and processes that ensure Paysign technology solutions function as designed, meeting or exceeding quality, performance, security, and audit standards. Additionally, this position is responsible for the defining and enforcing the application of quality assurance process and procedures, defining, and coordinating test environments, and facilitating performance and regression testing. Paysign is looking for an individual who has an automation first mindset and understands how to evolve an organizations quality assurance practice into a world class program. Experience in the payments and / or financial transaction processing domains is preferred.

Essential Job Functions

  • Evaluates and tests new software applications according to business and functional requirements.
  • Perform API level testing, system testing, black box functional testing, and UI testing.
  • Applies test methodology, engineering and product knowledge in the design of tests and testing strategies for the analysis and certification of products.
  • Plans and conducts the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality for large and complex projects.
  • Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements.
  • Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.
  • Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
  • Prepares reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities.
  • Prepares and presents technical and program information to team members and management.
  • Regular and consistent attendance is required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities

  • 5+ years prior experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Life cycle and QA's role in it.
  • Solid Understanding of SQL based data base management systems including but not limited to MySQL, Postgres and MariaDB
  • Experience with implementing and auditing test methodology and QA standards.
  • Working experience with Postman, SOAP UI or other XML testing tools.
  • Coding experience is highly desirable.
  • Selenium based automation experience preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in payments or pharmaceutical industries required.
