This position is located at Pillar Point Air Force Station near Half Moon Bay, CA

This position is not eligible for telecommuting

Essential Functions

  • Lead technicians in operating and maintaining telemetry mission equipment (antenna systems, receiver/combiners, data recorders, bit synchronizers, signal conditioners, modulators, display recorders and networks)
  • Lead technicians in performance of all maintenance, equipment/system status reporting, configuration control and logistics duties in accordance with the Integrated Organizational and Depot Maintenance Plan (IODMP) and related Operating Instructions (OI)
  • Lead technicians in troubleshooting electronic hardware to component level, and perform repairs in accordance with technical orders, maintenance manuals and schematics.
  • Lead technicians in operating oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multi-meters, and specialty RF test equipment in support of maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Lead technicians in performing daily operations and launch support activities according to standardized checklists and work instructions.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures pertaining to job site safety and security
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience

  • Associate's degree or two-year certificate from college or technical school with related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five years related technician experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
  • Experience providing operating and maintaining telemetry equipment, preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Able to work at heights up to 50 feet
  • Able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to sustain prolonged periods of standing, kneeling and or repeated stooping
  • The flexibility to work non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
  • Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship
  • Salary determined by Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License

The hourly rate for this role is determined by a Collective Bargaining Unit and is $43.92 to $54.69. RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training and preferred skills and knowledge.
