Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to create architecture blueprints that guide the development and implementation of cloud solutions across multiple products. This role provides direction to technical teams during project delivery and ensures implementations align with technology and product roadmaps. The Cloud Solutions Architect will leverage their expertise to develop and maintain architecture standards, partner with product managers, business analysts, designers, and software engineers to navigate solution decisions, and drive project success.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and present compelling cloud solutions and recommendations to customers.
  • Define operational procedures and practices, including KPIs, health-checks, monitoring, and escalation procedures.
  • Accelerate development for roadmap features and address specific customer requirements.
  • Identify ongoing risks and pain points throughout projects, and develop and implement mitigation measures.
  • Enhance internal processes, promote knowledge sharing through contributions to the knowledge base, blogs, and internal training sessions.
  • Capture project lessons and convert them into architectural best practices for the broader install base.
  • Mentor and coach internal teams, providing guidance through internal training sessions.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to review customer requirements and feedback, and identify opportunities for platform enhancements.

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Expertise in enterprise cloud solutions and deploying and managing solutions in various cloud environments (private, public, and hybrid).
  • Extensive experience with internet technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, SSL, HTTP).
  • Hands-on experience with public and private cloud services (e.g., AWS, OpenStack, VMware) as well as load balancers and networking devices.
  • Experience in designing high availability and disaster recovery/fail-over infrastructures.
  • Development experience with database or application integration technology.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with Open Source architectures and/or contributions to open source projects.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and operating highly-available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Proficiency with agile/scrum methodologies.
  • Professional Cloud Solutions Architect (PCSA) Certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in related fields.
