Location: Onsite - Jacksonville, FL

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8am -5pm

Salary range: $16.21 - $20.27 per hour, depending upon experience

What work will you perform?
To assist in the accountability and management of the Landstar Company controlled trailer fleet trailer maintenance program, along with all associated expense line items. Process and reconcile for payments all associated invoices in accordance with Landstar policies and Sarbanes Oxley controls. Track, document, review and disseminate all department reports in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley controls and the Landstar Management System.

Essential Responsibilities:.

  • Identify and facilitate the recovery of warranty items on company-controlled trailers.
  • Create daily, weekly and monthly management reports.
  • Research, verify, reconcile, and approve reimbursements/back charges due contractors.
  • Provide payment to contractors for services as required by department policy.
  • Process all Trailer Maintenance Vendor Invoices and reconcile invoice differences.
  • Process and approve payment of all citations on company controlled trailing equipment.
  • Responsible for the identification, tracking and recovery of all accident expenses associated with company controlled trailing equipment

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One year of customer service in an office environment.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience in transportation
  • High volume call centers

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong typing skills
  • Big data entry
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Access
  • PowerPoint and iSeries 400, preferred
  • Good analytical and judgment skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • ISO knowledge, helpful
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Transportation knowledge, helpful
  • Must be able to perform quality work with minimal supervision
  • Organize high volume of paper documentation
