Job Title Process Engineer Plant/Location Lancaster, OH 43130 US (Primary) Job Type Salary Category Manufacturing and Production Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Bachelor's Degree Job Accountabilities :: The successful candidate will able to: Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Coordinate with production team leaders, supervisors, and Plant Superintendent to support requirements and priority customer orders. Collaborate with production and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. Collaborate with vendors to determine product specifications and quality standards. Interact with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, productions schedules, and other considerations to facilitate productions processes. Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential. Utilize quality tools (i.e.: continuous improvement, corrective actions, Six Sigma) to improve the overall product. Assist with the design layout of equipment and workforce for maximum efficiency. Job Requirements :: Requires- 4 year degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial/operations management, or other general engineering/industrial degree with technical problem solving abilities. Experience with quality tools such as six sigma, lean manufacturing, statistical process control, etc. preferred. Experience working in an industrial setting preferred.
