This audiologist group in the Texas Gulf Coast is dedicated to providing patients with total care for diseases and disorders of the head and neck. We offer the highest level of specialty care for all ear, nose, and throat problems at their many convenient offices in Harris and the surrounding counties. With over 30 board-certified otolaryngologists in 15 locations spanning four counties, we offer excellent, top-rated service and care in our communities. Our audiology department is comprised of more than 25 audiologists, audiology externs, and support staff who collectively provide a comprehensive range of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services. Our audiologists work closely with our physicians while maintaining their professional autonomy and their patient caseload.

Duties Include:

Your Primary job duties will still include comprehensive diagnostic testing of adult and pediatric populations, hearing aid consultations along with fitting and verification of hearing aids, patient education, and counseling patients about hearing loss and hearing aids/assistive devices, and patient documentation in the electronic medical record. The audiologist will also provide mentorship and training to support staff and/or audiology externs.

Additional clinical and administrative opportunities include tinnitus treatment and management, VNG/ENG interpretation, and participation in departmental steering and representation committees.Supervisory Duties - You will be supervising 8 individuals, two other Audiologists but there are 4 Hearing Aid Dispensers and 2 Vestibular Technicians on staff as well.

Requirements:

Texas State Licensure

AuD or Master's Degree in Audiology

1-year experience as a supervisor within an ENT practice

Preferred two years of hearing aid dispensing experience
