Because we believe that everyone deserves more time to live life to its fullest. Schedule: Tues./Sat. 8:30am-5:00pm The Receiving Coordinator: Receives donor tissue into Solvita-Dayton. Inspects packaging, labeling, and associated documents for accuracy and donor traceability. Packages and ensures tissue, cultures, and blood are stored properly and within acceptable limits. Identifies, communicates, and resolves discrepancies in a timely manner. Ensures potential special processing donors are identified and go through proper receiving paths. Responsible for temperature monitoring and alarm handling of storage units. Performs pre-processing cultures. Performs discard process accurately and in a timely manner. Prepares tissue for shipment to internal/external facilities for additional testing or processing. Performs other duties as assigned.
