Harbour & Warehouse Coordinator

Duration: 12 + Months
Interview Mode: Onsite
Pay Rate: $28-$32/hr
Rotation: 7 days on/off. If all parties agree (both coordinators working back to back and the offshore site managers), it can be changed to 14 days on/off if preferred.
Working hours: 12 hours / day from 5 am to 5 pm.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of harbour site activities
- All PPE is up to date
- Crane and forklift operations
- Stock and warehouse monitoring
- Maintenance of site facilities.
Tasks
Assist the project HSE department regarding harbour site specific issues.
Support the Offshore Site team.
Management of safety equipment: offshore PPE kits, keeping record of inventory/certification, monitoring service life of PPE.
Site stock management - consumables for the building.
Assist with lifting operations from the quayside.
Manage forklift operations onshore/in warehouse and organise availability of mobile cranes when needed.
Fuel management - CTV's etc.
Site vehicles management (car and/or bikes)
Building, facility and site boundary safety checks.
Monitor and record site utilities (electric, water etc.)
Liaise with port waste management contractors.
Site office delivery management.
Liaise with Port authorities, Customs, site security company, and local site contractors as required.
Call out -duty outside normal working hours.
Data input of all PPE that requires certification.
Keep a quarantined area for damaged tools and PPE.
Supporting the construction management with ad hoc tasks.
Daily /weekly/ monthly/Annual building safety checks.
General housekeeping.
Requirements:
Mandatory:
Twic card
Non expired and non-suspended driving license
Able and willing to work independantly
Organized and maticulous
Prefferable:
- Experience in using/driving a fork truck.
- Flexibility with working hours on occation.
Recommended relevant education:
- 2 years' experience from similar position.
- Local knowledge
- Slinger / banksman
The Consultant must bring his/her own PC and/or Iphone. External consultants' equipment such as PCs, mobile phones and iPads must always be up-to-date with the latest iOS release. The owner must allow Ørsted's AirWatch security and management software for iPhones and iPads to be installed. The app is mandatory on all mobile devices used by Ørsted staff (including External consultants) to protect them from cybercrime. The owner must grant approval for Ørsted to remove apps, data and access from privately owned equipment if it is deemed to pose a risk in relation to Ørsted's security or the GDPR regulations, if the equipment is lost/stolen, or if the owner ceases to have an active contract with Magnit and/or Ørsted. When an external consultant leaves Ørsted, they must contact the IT Service Desk to remove all Ørsted apps and data. The IT Service Desk can only support privately owned equipment in connection with Ørsted's AirWatch security and management software.
