Department: Acton Manufacturing Operations

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Overview:

The Operations team is focused on leading Insulet's manufacturing operations in Insulet's new state of the art high speed automated manufacturing facility in Acton, MA. This candidate works closely with all supporting manufacturing functions to support root cause analysis, process improvement and production execution in the manufacturing facility. The candidate will work regularly with cross-functional teams to solve urgent business-related problems. Typical tasks include leading process efficiency improvement projects, data analysis, and establishing and improving operation processes. An ideal candidate has experience and interest in manufacturing and plant operations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor data collection systems and trend data

• Analyze and improve current business process to improve business efficiency

• Interact with cross functional teams to lead long term process improvement and implementation projects

• Analyze large amounts of data to present clear, actionable information to the team

• Performs other duties as required.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a BS in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management or similar field.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

• Data Analysis: Spotfire, Excel

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Ability to effectively communicate with cross functional teams.

• Planning/ prioritizing

• Decision making and problem solving

• Written and verbal communication

Physical Requirements (if applicable):

• Ability to lift up to 20lbs occasionally, 5-20lbs frequently

• Required to reach above shoulder frequently and below waist occasionally

• Required to push and pull

• Required to stand and sit for extended periods of time

• Must possess awareness of their surroundings and the ability to safely navigate an active production floor

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $23.00 - $29.75. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
