We are seeking a skilled Medical Center Radiology Technician to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. In this role, you will be responsible for providing health care services by performing radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology and be a Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist with the Texas Medical Board. If you are passionate about patient care and possess the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity
- Performs all diagnostic and screening imaging procedures including ER, surgical, fluoroscopic and portable procedures
- Assists physicians and radiologists in procedures requiring sterile technique
- Prepares and administers radiopaque contrast media needed for radiologic exams
- Assesses patient's condition prior to and during all radiologic procedures
- Performs other department-related duties as needed
