Palliative Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Manage symptoms and provide interventions to enhance patient comfort.
- Facilitate advanced care planning discussions and assist with decision-making processes.
- Educate patients and families about palliative care options and resources.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current Maryland Nurse Practitioner license.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty (e.g., Adult-Gerontology, or Palliative Care).
- Strong clinical assessment skills and experience in palliative care, oncology, or geriatrics preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
