Job Title: Interventional Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty: Radiologic Technologist Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 40 hrs/week, Days, Monday - Friday between 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 Experience: Minimum two years of clinical imaging experience required (interventional radiology experience required) License: Radiological license required Certifications: ARRT (R) (VI) and BLS certification by the American Heart Association Must-Have: - Permanent address outside a 50-mile radius of Madison - Experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma center or similar size hospital - Ability to work with pediatric, neuro, and vascular interventional patient population - Knowledge of sterile techniques and tray preparation for procedures - Prior traveler experience highly preferred - Epic experience highly preferred - Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology - Ability to provide 2 completed references from recent supervisors or managers Job Description: - Work collaboratively with vascular interventional and neuroendovascular physicians and nurses - Use multiple imaging modalities for diagnostic and interventional purposes, including Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, CT, and MRI - Image inpatients, outpatients, pediatrics, and intra-operative patients while using critical thinking skills - Assist in emergent cases such as strokes and traumas - Flexibility to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age or based on competency skills/experience - May have shifts scheduled in multiple units or different locations based on staffing needs
