Washington, United States NCRC (National Community Reinvestment Coalition) Full time

The National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) and its grassroots member organizations create opportunities for people to build wealth. We work with community leaders, policymakers and financial institutions to champion fairness in banking, housing and business. NCRC was formed in 1990 by national, regional and local organizations to increase the flow of private capital into traditionally underserved communities. NCRC has grown into an association of more than 600 community-based organizations in 42 states that promote access to basic banking services, affordable housing, entrepreneurship, job creation and vibrant communities for America’s working families.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Chief of Programs and Strategic Development, the Director of Development plays a crucial role in driving the organization’s fundraising efforts, ensuring financial stability, and supporting its mission. This individual will join the National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) at a pivotal moment in its history. Having reached its 30-year milestone, the organization has launched an ambitious strategic plan to guide its course for the next 5 years. A crucial component of this strategy is a comprehensive fundraising plan designed to secure the necessary resources to fulfill NCRC's mission. This includes deepening its local impact and creating numerous opportunities to advance wealth-building initiatives within underserved communities. The Director of Development will play a key role in developing and implementing this fundraising plan, supporting the organization's strategic direction.

NCRC staff are doers, innovators, problem-solvers, creators, and dreamers. The Development team is at the center of packaging the best results the organization has achieved to solicit and secure more funding, enabling us to do more.
