Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Engineering Tech to join their team

This position will function in a lead engineering technician capacity and under general direction, modify and create deliverables and perform assignments of a design nature to develop moderately complex design concepts for power generation mechanical piping.

Responsibilities:

  • Applies knowledge of Engineering Standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, applicable codes and policies and procedures
  • Must review requirements and accurately determine the correct format and contents of the required deliverables
  • Demonstrate personal accuracy, ensure consistency, and compliance
  • Coordinate with other design group personnel and may assist with performance management and mentoring other technicians
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • minimum 5 years with mechanical equipment and piping layout/design in the Power Generation industry
  • Experience in CADD or similar applications.
  • Bentley OpenPlant Modeler, generating fabrication models and deliverables (piping isometrics).
  • Intermediate knowledge of engineering standards, industry technology trends and company quality program
  • Diploma or Certification preferred. Associates Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design
