Job Summary and Responsibilities:

  • You will assess, plan, and manage patient care in the Med/Surg unit.
  • You will educate patients and families about treatment plans and medications.
  • You will ensure accurate documentation and communication of patient records.
  • You will administer medications in line with physician orders.
  • You will provide leadership and support to nursing staff during your shift.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid RN license in Florida or possess an active compact nursing license (with transfer within 60 days).
  • Required Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
  • Strong critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
